THE STORY:

Eileen McKay has been searching for a job for nearly six months. In that time, she’s had as many job interviews, her relationship with her boyfriend Jake Stefanski has shown as many signs of fracture, and her mental health has deteriorated. But her fandom for Danny Katz, host of her favorite pop-culture podcast, “Now, That’s What I Call Content!” has increased overwhelmingly.

Upon hearing that Danny is going to be doing a live episode in which he answers listener questions, finally with something to look forward to in her life, Eileen neglects everything and everyone and invests all her energy into crafting the perfect question…

 

Will she hear it answered?

 

No. In fact, before it’s dismissed as a joke in front of a large, sold-out crowd, she’ll hear it openly mocked by none other than Danny Katz, a podcast host who is not, as Eileen’s boyfriend Jake reminds, not her friend.
